imho poor tyres are a bit of a no-no. I know I'd be insanely pissed off if some chump on bald tyres understeered into me, or couldn't brake in time in the wet.

In fact, I'd probably get all Tony Longhurst on them

Yeah the last thing you want to be is the guy everyone is worried is going to collect them, and garbage tyres is the best way to achieve that. Not saying don't come, just grow a pair and splash on new tyres. You'll have a hell of a lot more fun on rubber that can handle a little heat and stay predictable.

I won't be going that fast anyways, still got standard Hilux suspension

I'd need a set of rims if I was to get new tyres and it's hard to find ones that will fit.

Most parts are still in the vehicle this time.

Only thing out is the radiator, all of the piping, anything from the exhaust manifold out.

Fluids and then hopefully some tyres.

I would, except I just got fucked over and no longer have a job, therefore cannot afford track tyres or brake pads etc, nor can I afford anything breaking which I probably will seeing as i have nfi what's going on with the engine as i have no gauges.....

is there any space for a drunken lout to come down for friday/friday night and drink beer and attempt to lend a hand to people only to get in the way and be really annoying?

Im guessing you guys normally drink more on friday night (if anyone drinks)...... and i am interested to see what these track days are all about.
