lol. hey parrot, thanks so much for the spare pass. if you want the ke15 in the paddock next year you will either have to leave melbourne at 5am or stay somewhere in the district. i think you are the first person in the world to call a stock ke20 a rocket.hehe.
i think i almost wet my pants when i saw the 3k powered formula 2. i spent about 20mins talking to the owner. it has a pair of webber 45s, a shortened k40 with strait cut gears with dog engagement and a sprite/midget diff. it's for sale with a trailer and some spares for $22,000.
as for the event, i loved it. it was 5th year i had been and it just keeps getting better each year. i think we need a proper cruise and an area set aside for next year.
everyone who missed out, pen it in the calendar for next year.

nostalgia is not what it used to be:
Ah, the owner of the rx2 sold his ski boat to a good mate of mine after he needed to reshell the car when it was crashed at last years P.I. classics.

I was standing at the other side of the track and saw this crash smack in front me.
If i can find the photo of the car in his drive way i`ll post it up.
I think the new shell came from a forum member too.

Yeah made a big mess. Im pretty sure he said it had pushed the accentric shaft in the engine forward enough to screw that too. Looked like all that was salvagable was the dash and the fire ext when i saw it the weekend after.Originally Posted by Slim

I was working on start line for the Victorian Mini Club and I would have to say it was one of the most impressive cars prior to the crash and then one of the most impressive crashes I have seen. Here is what she looked like in the previous incarnation.
Oh and I was at Winton for the weekend and it was awesome as always
