Brake Fluid, try overfilling it slightly
Or you've got a loose connection on the handbrake
Hi All,
Recently i've noticed under med-heavy braking I have a light that comes on on the dash. The light is the ! inside a circle. The only time this light used to come on was when the handbrake was on. Because it only comes on during higher g forces i assume it's a liquid somewhere. I've checked oil for both engine and trannie, radiator coolant and brake reservoir too. All are perfect. Engine has no mods except for airfilter.
Umm, it's got me stumped. Any ideas would be much appreciated! It's getting pretty annoying.

It will be for the brake fluid - a low level warning coupled into the handbrake light. Although you say you have checked it and its ok - but it could be that the g-forces are enough to move the fluid to cause the light to come on.
Is there a max level in the reservior as wearing pads will cause more fluid to be stored in the calipers - which is why it might not have happened from the start?
As above, brake fluid level - or a loose wire/bad earth that moves enough to short under heavy braking.
