Enquiry About ST205 Oem CAMSHAFT

To anybody out there,

I really need help here.Could you please open this website and see whether this camshaft can fit into my Celica 3sgte ST185 engine or not ??

Is the camshaft the same as the st205's ? Because the seller said so, even though they're from the MR2 Gen3.

I just do not want to buy the wrong parts. Kindly reply. Really appreciated if you could help.

gen3 cams (either sw20 series 2 or ST205) WILL fit into any gen2 head (ST185 or series 1 sw20)

Is The Ct20a The Same With Ct20b ?? I Have Stock Ct20a Turbo Which I'd Like To Use For My St185 Engine.

What's The Difference If I Use This Turbo ? I'm Trying To Play In Low Rev, Does This Turbo Suitable For My Requirement ?

nnooo ct20b is off the gen3 3sgte and would be great for your car.

the ct20a is off the 2jz and would be no good.

So CT20A is out of Toyota Supra isn't it ?? Sorry but I want to know why is not suitable for my engine ? Sorry but I'm curious about this. Is it not suitable at all if I use it for my engine to play on low rev ?

Yes gen3 3sgte cams (ie ST205 or series 2 sw20 mr2) will fit in your gen2 engine and will be a small performance upgrade.

The ct20a is off the 2jz and on that engine they are a pair and therefore not suitable to use as a single turbo on a 2 litre.

i got mixed up betweem camshaft and crankshaft. What i need is the camshaft. I sent the wrong pics.
Could you be more precise why is it ct20a should not be used only 1 ? If i use what'd be the consequence ?

Way too small, made to work as a pair on a 3 litre engine. So it would be about right on a 1.5 litre. Plus only one of the pair has a wastegate as far as I can remember.

It will choke a 3S.
