the mods were to do with fitting the 7m gearbox extension housing to the aristo gearbox so i didnt neef that rubber doughnut they use, it was the standard cressida outputshaft from the gearbox all the way back stock.

michael sais that to put the 7m extension housing on the aristo box you needed to remove a set of spider gears (which is an extra strength part that the other a340 gearboxes dont have) which would mean the beefed up 2j gearbox was only as strong as a stock one, but he worked out a way to machine the gears and/or housing (cant remember which) that let me keep the spider gears and therefore a stronger gearbox.

he was so helpful, he looked at and fixed my car on quite a few occasions since i had the mods done and didnt charge any extra to fix everything.
