Default Sydney Car Alarm installer for Paseo

    Hi Everyone,

I bought a car alarm system from JayCar and tried to install it in my 92 Paseo with no luck.
I have all the wiring diagrams but the job looks a bit above my head. I called a few auto electricians around Sydney and none are willing to install the system for me.

Anyone on the forum know how to install car alarms ($$$) or would be able to recommend someone??

    Thanks,
    Dave

    I highly doubt it.

Get a decent alarm to start off with.

    I recommend Rhino alarms

    Installed by rhino with warranty.

Then get an auto elec mate/friend to change a bit to make it a one-off install.

Your asking an auto elec to fix a 1/2 installed Jaycar alarm in unknown condition.
If i were an auto elec, i would turn you down to unless i was really desperate for work... could turn into a huge headache.

    Good luck
    Try fixing it yourself further.
If no go, pull it all out, throw it in the bin and buy an installed system from an auto elec.

im an auto elec and ill do it for you for $180. Time is money these days that is why auto elecs dont wanna do it because it takes too long to do. You can take it to strathfield get it done in half the time at half the quality for a cheaper price.

I installed a black-wired Mongoose alarm in my Paseo by torchlight We really have EASY car to work on, all the wires are there and follow the same colour scheme as basically every single Toyota from that era.
The above opinion is just that - my opinion. It is not shared by any business that I am currently or have previously been involved with, nor any of their employee's.
