Bazooka, check your PM, I can't call international.

Or if someone who speaks Japanese wants to help me out, there is a 1ggze SC14 on yahoo jp auctions for only $80 USD... need to find out if the seller will ship international and for how much:

Hi mate I use a guy called Jesse Streeter "[email protected]", he will bid for you on yahoo japan and arrange shipping to your location. Since hes in japan you dont have to worry about the seller shipping international or not.
Jesse does charge a % fee for his service.

There is a bloke in the US that does an SC kit for a non Toyota bread of cars that I'm interested in and he has achieved over 200RWKW on a 3ltr V6 with a Eaton/Magnuson MP62 running less than 10psi and well within the SC's max speed.
Simply comparing displacement volumes between superchargers tells very little of the whole story.

Well firstly, an 'MP62' and 'M62' are two different superchargers.

There is a documented build of an M62 clutched Mercedes blower adapted to a 4AGZE already. He said it basically felt around the same as the SC12. I don't know how it would perform if someone used the newer MP62 though. The other problem is AFAIK they don't make a short snout clutched MP62.

So why is there such a big insistance on having a clutch attached to the SC?
If you wanted on/off switchable performance limiting, you could use a big solenoid bypass valve. Not the technically correct way to do it, but simpler and gives you access to much better SCs

With the advancement of supercharger technology, clutched compressors are not necessary especially when you factor in a properly sized bypass valve. I make a twinscrew supercharger kit for the 4agze. My original plans where to use the s/c14 both previa and soarer. Problem with this was every s/c14 I got my hands on had scorched lobes. Some where ok, but we are still using a used blower in which internally one has no idea as to what pressure it may or may not hold. Also noticed most s/c14's lacked oil changes in which overall life capacity would be shortened especially with the type of power most are looking to make. Finally, I have yet to see anyone with an s/c14 break the 200whp mark. Some have come close including myself, but just could not get there. Its a great mod for 180 or so rwhp but the inefficiencies at the top end swayed me to use the Twinscrew for the 4agze. Especially since I recorded 250+ degrees coming from the outlet at 14psi.

Good mod for more power, but once you make that 180whp you are limited as increasing the boost for more power is not possible.
