Interior light problem.

Im trying to fault find the interior light in my aw11 but I don’t really have any idea where to start. For awhile it was having problems when the light was set to door but I narrowed down to the switch in the door and after replacing it worked fine. But now the light wont ever turn on regardless of the setting. I switched the whole interior light unit over (as the backing track clips or whatever u would call them) had popped off but it simply wont work. Any ideas where I could start ?

Yeah I've been having these sort of issues in my celica. I went and checked for continuity between the different body grounds and found that there was a few K of resistance on some of the grounds. I think the real solution would be to find which part of the body wiring is causing the problem and replace it but as a short term fix I have created a few new grounding points (boot/roof) for the lights to run off.
