have you checked the timing?
my 20v in my AE71 wont start
basic rundown,
Microtech LTX8
just swapped originaly injectors back in
new plugs
bosch coil packs
the car has spark and its getting fuel, injectors are pulsing, the car cranks but doesnt fire, it semi fires like a splutter at first then notthing
any ideas?
have you checked the timing?
plug gap and / or timing???![]()
new injector o-rings? greased the o-rings???

that was the only other thing i could think it would be BUT you can adjust the timinig using the microtech and its easier than trying to get behing the head to loosen the dizzy but i dont have a handset
its not too hard to get in there to loosen the dizzy. use a flat ring spanner and you'll be able to get to it.

You said you just swapped the std injectors back in. Did you adjust the impeedance setting on you ECU back to the Std impeedance ( ohms )?
or are they the same impeedance?![]()

seems the crank alot smoother and feels like its having a better go. played around with the dizzy to no avail. might =have another go and change the order of the leads around jusstt for fun.

ok sideshow came out
we put the 1JZGTE injectors back in, it started with the 20v ones but the map was setup for the 1J ones and seemed to run alot better on them also.
the main problem was actually my battery, although it had an ok charge it was pretty old and shitty and he told me that when the voltage drops too much the microtechs go a bit funny.
so in short the car runs i had everything sweet except for a shit battery. sounds tough as too with jsut the extractors!!! hehe
ah... always test voltage on crank .. drops below 10volt mean batt flatery.

meh i have the BIGGEST head ache.
after trying 2 different battery braces and then modifying one of the brackets i FINALLY got it mounted and solid in the boot and in the box. pics once i get the car back![]()
