Rear main oil seal for 1JZ

Hi,

As the title states I'm trying to track down the genuine part number for the rear main seal on a 1JZ. The blokes at my local toyota want a vin number, but without the original car the engine came from it makes life difficult.

Can someone help me?

I have searched but to no avail.

Agreed that dont waste your time with any other Toyota dealer. Castle Hill are excellent.

I have similar trouble with any other Toyota dealer including my local one. All they want is vin number. Can never find what i want.

i bought my rear main from my local bearing place. chaeps as - cant remember exactly i think it was under $20

toyota was over $70.

Part number is 90311-90006

Check out this site. Its the Toyota parts catalogue. I have been using it for all my stuff.

You get what you pay for , Genuine verse non . Too hard to find out the hard way.

I completely agree with cambelt for seals. Non gen can be slightly off to the gen ones and it's not a job I want to be doing again...

Adam , if this helps you at all , me and the mates with toyo's in balcatta here always deal with Big Rock toyota, they have a fucking awesome parts section and dont ask retarded shit like Vin/chassis/engine numbers n that crap..

give em a call im sure they'll post it down to u

Also (Gives seal sizes...)

xJZ-GTE Rear Crank Seal (W 354 433 35 SILICONE; 90-110-9, Toyota: 90311-90006)
90mm ID, 110mm OD, 9mm, Silicone (this is what 90-110-9 means)

xJZ-GTE Front Crank Seal (Toyota: 90311-46001, NOK BH4513E or BH4513F, 46 63 6.5) [Can't get aftermarket]

2JZ-GTE Cam Seal (FTCS: SD 40.5 52.5 6 R, Toyota 90311-40041 subs Toyota 90311-40020) [Can't get aftermarket]
