HTR fuse 7.5 amp is the power feed for the heater control switch panel. Beyond that, any chance you could have damaged any of the wiring to the control panel?
So, I just finished installing my alpine head unit.
Tapped the illumination wire into the cigarette lighter surround. While I was there I left the TRAC buttons and ABS computer unplugged (because neither of these are funtional). Other than that, everything was left as standard.
Now that I've put it all back together I went for a drive last night. Stereo works great, antenna included.. "perfect!" I thought.
Then I realised all the LEDs for the aircon system weren't illuminated. Some brief trial and error tells me that the system as a whole is not working either (fans, etc).
Any ideas what I might have done while I was back there to cause this very specific failure? I found it interesting, because I didn't touch the air-con wiring, apare from pulling the plugs out to remove that piece of the dash.
So far I've double checked that everything's connected, and checked fuses in the kick panel and engine bay (although none of them were labelled aircon?)
Also, clock, cigarette lighter and the illumination for both are working fine
Help much appreciated!
Cheers,

Hrm, that fuse is fine :\
all power was off while I was messing around, but there's always a chance. I'm trying to get my hands on a 2nd hand ac unit at the moment to cehck if I somehow fried something in my unit
The only other thing is the connection to the AC amplifier. The illumination circuit is separate and there shouldn't be a problem with where you tapped for the dash lighting (provided you get the correct side of the globe). Does the headunit dim when you turn on the parkers? Do the buttons for the heater controls light up when parkers are on? Sucks when this crap happens..
yeah im guessing you tapped in the wrong side of the globe i had this problem before with similar problems

Answered on Supraforums but will post here for anyone searching.
What you think is the ABS computer is probably the air con ecu.
It has abs on it as that is the plastic its made from.
Connect it back up should fix it.
