    Hey thare

Just wondering ... Goldy28... did you happen to see when i was driving along my P' plate come off the back window and pin itself on my face? lol - was a weird experience ... sorry about the slowness too

Here are my Iphone pictures.... once again not acceptable from a photographers point of view

I tried to get a couple of the actual group with the cars too - would have been cool to have got the drivers to stand with their Beasts' in the Horse Shoe too

hmmm found out what my overheating problem is...

will be able to gun hoe next time and stop billy carting down hills....
if there was no permanent damage as a result.

The fuel was too 'crazy'. Was a noob for this mix of fuel, shell 98 octane with 500ml 7 point octane booster, apparently its common to get over heating due to the 'slower' burning of the high octane fuel as it still burns in the manifold, creating crazy temperatures in the engine bay, and being nasty to exhaust valves.

The irritation of heat compared to the resulting 'ommmph' factor by having a huge ignition advance isn't cool enough to repeat this again.

Will give her a treat tomorrow. Fill her up with dodgey 91 octane standard 7-11 petrol and retard the ignition wayyyyy back down, she'll luv it .

Pity i haven't got an old celica on the road to join yas. Doesn't feel the same driving my hair dressers car with yas. I got an old ra23 in a shed waiting for me.

Thanks everyone for a fun cruise yesterday! Well my car survived, it was running better with the new plugs but my timing chain was still rattling like hell up the mountain and it just felt a bit sluggish to normal. But fun all the same!

Yeah i noticed your car smoking a bit too baja chris, when we were going down the other side of Mt Mee... musta been running quite rich...

Well hopefully after I get my rudd money and put new timing chains and guides in my engine and reco the head, we can have another classic celica cruise! It will hopefully be in late may and down the lion's road again
