The van is a beast Phil so plenty to be pleased about.
Ditto to all the guys for making the weekend the cracker it was - Dubbo delivers
My cheeks still ache from laughing at Shano's spec sheet![]()
What an awesome weekend, thanks guys (and girls). Nevermind the rain, and the car breakdowns etc, because socially it delivered as good as ever!
I'm really happy to have driven my panelvan there and back, I thought it was becoming a trailer queen, but it actually handled the journey quite well (even if my ears didn't)
And congrats to those that took away trophies from the event, they were hard earnt
Cheers
Phil

"KE25 Replica" built ground-up from a VW Beetle, hahahaa. Nice work ShanoIf they hadn't dropped the "best engineered" this year, you would have been in for sure!

Was a good weekend away as usual, plenty of laughs were had too.
Big thumbs up to everyone hanging around and helping/supporting the cars that had issues on the way home, it was great to see that sort of support from the Canberra crew.
I was pleased the KE25 ran like clockwork all weekend and was returning around 7L/100km on the open road![]()
I slept like a log last night, I think having a pillow that didn't feel like a brick wrapped in a towel helped enormously.

Before I forget, Tom Vale is going to be in charge of t-shirts for the Canberra guys next year for the Dubbo trip.
I expect they will be...........interesting![]()

I watched the footage I took last night in high-def widescreen and it came up awesome.
We have the following options for the footage:
Watch it somewhere straight off the camera in high-definition if one of the clubs we have beer-o-clocks will let us plug the camera in?
Burn the un-edited footage to DVD for those who were at Dubbo from Canberra and distribute at a beer-o-clock (some loss of quality will result).
Or both options.
I can't edit the footage unfortunately as my laptop has a fit and crashes due to the size of the video files so it will be seen/distributed as it was filmed. If someone has a decent computer capable of editing and is happy to do some editing I am happy to arrange a download of the digital files.
I will leave the footage on the camera until the skid pan day when it will need to be deleted.
Let me know what you guys think....

Both options i reckon, with constant reference to Kedderz and the handbrake....not the type used in the khana![]()

Not sure if he would have been able to see over the dash either as her thumb was pushing pretty hard on his forehead![]()

Hey Guys!
Can I just say a massive thanks to everyone for helping with the wagon yesterday! Without you guys, I would have been trying to fix it with a fuel soaked rag and a lighter!![]()
The old 3AGTE made it home and gave me (and I'm sure Tom) an awesome headsche! Was good to pass 2 popo's in Quangers letting out big backfires and not get pulled up for it!![]()
Thanks again for an awesome weekend, and for all the help with the beast on the way home! Can't wait for next year. The wagon won't be going there again without a little TLC before hand!
Cheers all,
Eddie
