Default Shelf life of assorted car parts?

    Right...
I'm in the process of hoarding up car parts to get a little more life out of my 2j (no, it's no in the country yet. shut up glen )

So, what I want to know is what is the shelf life of these items like (I know my stainless exhaust will probably live longer than I will)

    * GT35/40 turbo, used. 8 months old, <10,000kms. still has bits of oil and coolant hanging around in it.
    * ~6month old 800cc injectors, never used (will the rubber perish?)
    * pre-loved silicone coolant hoses (same age and life as the turbo)

basically my main concern is how to care for the turbo, which may be left sitting around for a year, depending on how quickly I sell my old supra/want to die

Its always a good idea to get injectors cleaned and flow tested after they have been sitting around for a while.
Same as its a good idea to put a new fuel filter in.
The real test is finding someone competent in cleaning sidefeed injectors (VVTi run sidefeed?)

    Silicon will be fine

Turbo, well, its not going to get any better, just whack it on.

vvti I'm totally unsure about, I've seen conflicting reports. some people say side feed, at least one wholesaler says top feed. I figure I'll wait till it lands and find out

Ive heard you should keep injectors in an air tight bag. this is what i did for the 3mths my car was off the rd.these injectors were used though.
