rt142 live axle is borgwarner, ra60 is t-series (similar thickness shafts)

    they'd both break with a 1jz

i'd rather an lsd as its less prone to snap oversteer.

nope (if they did fit there'd be no point in upgrading )

I find it difficult to belive that r31 axels being 28 spline diff would fit into a rt141 for numerous reasons. The r31 diff is wider so it is unlikely that the axles would be the same length. The r31 bearings are larger so I dobut they would go in the tube. The carrier is larger so again out of luck. The pintara has 25 spline axels, howeve again I doubt if thety fit as the RT141 is a 23 spline axel. The pintara and skyline diff is a Borgwarner 78 series the rt141 is a borgwarner 70 series.

    for coilovers

i would highly recomend this setup at the front

im running mx73 struts, with a steel sleve welded on, st185 inserts (kyb-agx ones), and s13 camber tops

this bolts in perfectly! im running 8kg springs up front

japlish - what sierra shocks are you running in the rear? im still trying to sus my rear end suspension and can't decide what I want to use.
I need something relatively short stroke as the car will be sitting very low.

I'm also running a ra60 t-series diff for the option down the track of a 2-way lsd. This will reduce the stress on the axels while driving normally!

I'm running GH sigma arms up front too, and they give a MASSIVE boost to your front track and give you about 3 degress of neg camber!
I need more adjustment to tuck my 15x8's in under the standard guards.

I think they are about 30 - 40mm longer than the rt142 control arm.

I'm running an AJPS lock spacer up front, however I might ditch this as it has added way too much steering travel now. I want more lock without extra turns k thanks!!!

I'm halfway through adapting s13 castor rod mounts to an rt142, seeing as ae86 castor rods are extremely overpriced!!!!

When funds permit (read after i've bought a house and settled in...) i'll be doing a coilover rear end! So sit tight!

Oh yeah, power wise. I'm still running a 22r... mind you, it does have twin 40mm solex's and a few other goodies, I'm sure it will slide just fine!
Also running an oil cooler too, because QLD heat sucks!!!!

Thats the answer i was after thanks mate

It looks like hilux rear end is the way to do, i was hoping to use the corona diff housing to save doing more custom work.
