i know windscreens and side windows are usually tempered glass but...
if you wanted to alter the shape of a window, or use glass from a different car and alter the shape, can it be done easily?
I often cut pyrex and quartz with diamond blades, but never tried on tempered/toughened glass...
failing that, are there places around that make custom windows?

I guess you might be able to find some more stuff on a hot rod forum especially the ones where they are doing roof drops etc. I would imagine some glass cutting is happening in these instances.
