The oil cooler is the small donut type of cooler that sits underneath the oil filter, kind of like a sandwich plate with coolant running through it. The coolant is supplied from the water bypass pipe which travels directly underneath it on its way to the water pump. It looks like it would be very easy to swap it over to another engine as it doesnt have many parts or long coolant lines.
fwiw: a 5sfe out of a holden apollo (no idea what year) has a water-cooler oil cooler and both water fittings are push-on hose fittings.
