Unplug the vacuum line going to the turbo pressure sensor and block it, job done.
However that theoretically completely removes the fuel cut.
Can anyone help me with a wiring diagram for connecting a HKS fuel cut defender to my 1990 st185 gt4. instructions are in japanese![]()
cheers for any help
kurt.

I have a generic fuel cut defender that I bought in ebay from the UK and maybe just hoping that it is similar. Post your email so I can send you the instructions, only if you're interested. Plus what Roundy says is correct but I assume you want to install this anyway.Originally Posted by Roundy
looked at my hks fcd book. the 90gt4 is the same ecu pins as my sw20.
red wire gets spliced into the power(B+) wire. its black with a yellow strip.
cut the PIM wire thie is blue with a black stripe. make sure you cut it with enough length to strip a section and solder it. join the end going to the ecu to the yellow wire and the end going to the MAP sensor to the white wire.
and the black wire goes to a brown earth wire.
if you have the pinout diagrams this will help.
red-A12(B+)spliced into (black+yellow wire)
black-B26(E02)spliced into(brown)
white-C13(PIM)intercept.(blue+black)
yellow-C13(pim)intercept(blue+black)
thanks for the replies guys.
will keep you posted after i give it a go.
cheers kurt.
Hey Kurt,
Sent you the HKS instruction manual. Hope it's the same.
Good Luck.
