The beams still isn't running as it should at idle, so I don't drive it when/where people are around, working through it eventually I think, maybe who knows...

Just to follow up a few questions, prices are $70 for dyno and weigh. $20 for weigh only. Event will start at approx 8:30am and go until probably 3-4pm. I've still yet to find out about the air flow for FWD cars, a question i'll be discussing with Brian tomorrow (sorry Huy )

Based on how things worked out last time, i'll start the morning with RWD cars, then after a break for lunch we'll start strapping down the FWD and once done, back to the remaining RWD.

It's a 2WD dyno only, so sorry Ryley, can't do the GTR unless you want to do something crafty. The merc shall be fine. Had a UZZ3x on the scales come in at 1800kgs, so you may have the new heavyweight champion.

I'm thinking about some new trophies for the folks who came last time. Along the lines of most added/removed weight, largest power gain, and best improved power to weight.

    Any ideas folks, i'm open

I have told you folks, 1595kg!!!!!!! Aluminium body FTW!!!! none of this crappy toyota build quality

GTR you can unplug a fuse and bingo, RWD

whether funds will uphold is the question, sounds good though!!

I'm in for at least one car (the 28). I'll chat to Emma on the weekend and see if she wants to bring the Levin.

So I take it this is still all organised and going ahead? If so I'll be there as long as the celica makes it there

I guess we should check with Brian @ Racetek to see if James confirmed the 22nd etc?

Does anyone live nearby who could pop in to see Brian?

I suppose the other question is, does everyone still wish to go-ahead with this dyno day if it is still Tee'd up with Brian?

    Tis a tricky one .....

But as someone mentioned on the site we should also celebrate his life as well ... I'm sure he would have wanted it to go ahead .. if people are willing to come ....

I was thinking the same. It should possible be still held to celebrate what James loves so much. Cool Cars!

Sorry guys, I"m probably out if it's just a dyno run, I was just going to get an accurate read out of the weight of my car and throw in a dyno run while I'm there.

I'll still come down to celebrate James life if it goes ahead

I'll be interested if this goes ahead, but personally I don't think I have the heart to go...

    Cheers.

I just spoke to Brian at Racetec, sounds like a nice guy .. He has spoken with James Dad & his apprentice mechanic ( also a friend of James ) & the decision was made for it not to go ahead this weekend ... However Brian said if someone else was to organise a similar thing in the future he was more than happy to have it happen, ( obviously the corner weighing of the car's would be out as they were something James was supplying ) ...

So something for us to think about ...
