Default 1jz swap super n00b questions again :)

ok im doin all my wiring and shit now and i need to clear up a few things here and there and no one is replying thru msn, probs cause they all cant be assed with me but yeah

so heres where i am ATM.

this one here, im assuming it is for the fuse box but not totaly sure, runs off the same leads the ignitor runs off, i had a look on and around the fuse box and it dont seem to have a mate so im also assuming it needs to be spliced in?

these are the old alternator leads obviously, do i have to remove them or do they just go limp after i connect the new alternator leads from the 1j? and if remove, hows the best way to go? just cut them off and then cover the ends up?

and this one, WTF is it? just comes from a loom line from under neath the inlet manifold,

and the last one for now is what do ihave to do about my O2 sensor? should that of been on my engine loom or it off the side somewhere?

    cheers fellas

The second last pic is for the aircon i'm pretty sure. The o2 sencer plug is near the alternator and crank angle sencer plug, near the waterpump. The charge wire for the alternator needs to be extended to the other side of the motor. The big alternator plug needs to be spliced into the plug in the first pic. The plug in the first pic needs to be spliced into the fusebox wiring.

Send me your email and i can send you the pdf for wiring the alternator and fusebox wiring up.

    thanks man

just sent you a email just then but its [email protected] if you didnt get it as i know their dodgy at times,

but that last one would be ac thinking of it as im not running AC so yeah

and also there is a lead that looks like the alternator charge lead (the round hollow one) on the drivers side of the engine and the 1j alternator plug, im guessing their in the 1j loom, do they have to be wired from the 7m point into the the leads off the 1j loom?

    cheers

The alternator charge lead on the drivers side of the 1jz needs to be connected to the 7m one on the other side of the motor. The wiring for 1jz alternator plug runs through the 1jz engine loom to the plug in the first pic. I'v sent the wiring diagram through an email to ya.

On the Z20's it doesn't look like the C1 plug but it should be a similar 4 or 6 pin plug near the fuse box. It would have plugged into the original 7m engine loom.

this one here, whats it for? its got a lead off it also that looks like a netral start switch

and i finished up that alternator work so thanks heaps for the info, i wrote up a guide for it so ill post that up later

also im not running any AC so all the AC wires in the ECU loom, can i leave all that off and just not wire it in and still have the standard heater work?

and to extend the alternator power cord do i just run a thick gauge wire across from near the battery or is there a better way to wire it?

    thanks again

I don't know about the plug in the pic. The yellow/orange plug just above it looks like the plug for the ecu powers. Yer you can leave the AC wires disconnected. But you'll have to wire the heater tap up for the heater to work.

And yer just use a thick gauge wire to entend the alternator wire.

thats the one i spliced into the jza70 loom as it had matching colors and was the only free plug there so im right?

and the heater is wired in so im happy , and so once thats done and the IH1 to B1 plugs are spliced together, that would allow it to start with all the mechancial bases covered?

also im using these plans here
    http://www.1jz.com/tech/docs/wiring/IH1(87-89).pdf
the ones with the x on the plans, whats that mean? is that like a earth or something?

cheers again for the help, if only you could email beers
