maybe your bushes are fucked?
prehaps your steering rack needs a rebuild?
Really over this Cressida handling like shit. When you go around corners at say 80+ kms the car sways side to side and even when driving straight and you hit bumps at 80+ kms it will sway around side to side. Car has coilovers. K mac street and at the moment the damper is set about 1/3. I haven't had time to play around with it but not sure if it's even the prob. Standard sway bars too. Can someone give us some ideas why.

Now targeting, people who are now targeting!!
you have standard sway bars designed for the standard suspension.
MX83 2JZ-GTE!!
#YOLO.
The ride is quite soft but still has min body roll. I fed am getting some new sway bars but still it isn't like I'm driving around a track or anything at high speed it's happening at 100 kms driving ok high ways. Would this still be the sway bars. How should the front sway bar be tensioned with the coilovers like how tight should the linkagers be done up
If your gonna get aftermarket ones then Id steer clear of the "orange" coloured ones.....![]()

Yer I was going to get a whiteline rear 16mm or get pedders to make something like 18mm rear
Yeah good stuff, the orange ones are just plain shithouse, quality wise. And the bushes they supply are even worse.
mines got teins largus sways rcas, jic castor arms and a cage and its on rails
couldnt be more happy with hot it sits, not sure what the real key is though cause iu never got much of a drive with stock suspension.
Try hardening the shocks up a bit
My MX 83 handles worse now at 100 klm since i put new KYB shocks and 25mm lower kings in .
Before the 150000klm old shocks and springs felt so much better, and of coarse i did all this before the MA70 / Rav 4 idea came about .
Car feel like it will roll over and is worst at about 120klm
Dave
What sort of rolling hardware have you got? Tyres wheels.
I'm using reset springs with A70 KYB's and stock front struts (stuffed), with 17' wheels 235 45 all round. It handles alright but the sus is pretty soft.
AE93 SX - Thrasher 20V
JZX100 Chaser - Daily 1J lovin
they are a heavy car cant expect much without going a coilover set up or some dam stiff springs/shocks to match. Kings are shit house
fuck coilovers in a road car
i have kings lows, kyb front mx83 shocks twin rear sway bars and decent tyres (softer compound up front) and am very happy with how mine handles. no roll, very predictable and loves to be steered with the throttle.
a bit of extra tow-in doesnt go astray either
got given wrong info
sorry

I'm leaning towards the power steering being to touchy at higher speed and withthe coilovers being a bit bumpy and standard seats arent that great either. Any way I can make the power steering a bit heavier with out getting rid of it
