maybe they wanted to test the pressure at different pints in the system, to see if they had any restrictions?
is it on inlet or outlet? (or can be both?)
I have a PWR Liquid to Air Barrel Intercooler and am a little confused as to why exactly the previous owner has plumbed into the piping for. It has a vacuum line coming from it that seems to be set-up to read boost. But doesnt a boost gauge need to be connected to the intake manifold to give a accurate representation of boost? as if u run it just of the inter cooler its gives a too-high boost reading?
thanks for the help guys

Odd.

to under the drivers seat where it has been cut of.. it appears to have some oil in it to (only the tiniest amount), but i assume that has come up from the supercharger as there is some light greasing in the piping.
Only thing i can think of is it was used for tuning/testing by running to a boost gauge.

Defineately looks like vacuum line
Is it on the cold side of piping?? maybe intake temp sensor!!
from the picture its just after the supercharger
i feel much better now that ive given up hope
