try chasing the wires back from the indicator stalk and see if there all joined up, i take it the lights worked before the headunt install ?.
Join those wires back up and see if they will work.
Hey guys, been wiring up my headunit and ive run into a problem. The turn signals are not working.
The lights and dash will flash with the alarm and the hazard switch, and the fuse for "turn" isnt burnt - but nothing happens when I flick the indicator - on the dash or the actual lights.
When I was wiring the headunit I maybe cut a few wires I shouldnt have --- i.e. I cut wires that were plugged into a technics thing (i assume some sorta amp?) - I wouldnt think that turn signals would be plugged into that but?
pps. can I remove that technics amp? does it serve any purpose other than the factory stereo?
Thanks for any replies - driving without indicators is dangerous lol :S
oh and does the car engine need to be running to use the turn signals? i cant remember if they worked on acc lol

i dont have a funny or cool signature.
the turn signal lights wont work if the hazard light switch isn't hooked up, maybe you did something wrong there, also make sure you check all the fuses. oh and i think they the lights only work when you have igntion on the "on" function. pretty sure they dont work on acc

^^^^^ it was the hazards --- werent hooked up cuz the stezza is out atm
thanks heaps mate, saved me having to find a non-existant problem
Do you hazzrds not work aswell? I would assume they dont either, and i would check the plug behind the upper volume knob (slightly to the left of). You would of unplugged it to remove the top two screws that holds the whole unit in place.
If the plug isnt in then a circuit cannot be created, and hence no blinkers!
haha, you beat me to it it seems. good to hear you sorted it out
no problem lol, atleast its all sorted now![]()
hehehe yep Hazard switch for sure... i've done the same thing a few times![]()

.. if they work with the hazard switch, then it's not the hazard switch not being plugged in.
Ignition ON, not ACC.Originally Posted by slimdusty
