Anna, everyones pretty on their toes, if the car in front gets a lil outa shape you just give then a lil more margin, its not full bumper to bumper racing, so youve got quite a bit of room error.........everones done a good job to avoid me so far,

Most people are very cautious on the track when they start getting near other cars Only the more experienced drivers tend to get close to other cars when they are of similar speed. They will have no problems avoiding you, when they see you starting to lose it.

looks good joel ,you need to beat me .as i have only done 20 laps there before i was cleaned up by a corvette did a 1.1193 was going faster with every lap was hoping to get down to 1,10 but wasnt to be and i was only running a 4.3 diff ratio as well

Thanks guys, was great to see another day go well and a bunch of people, regulars and new, have a blast. A few big efforts to get cars there too, but i think adam's form tops it, he even made it to the meet up on thursday evening! Unlike a couple of others who are making a habit of keeping us at the Pelican up until the wee hours - although none of us believed the "i'm definately never getting there after midnight again" or "i've just got to run 1 wire so we'll be leaving in an hour". Or even "we'll be there by 2am".

I had a pretty easy lead up car-wise; new pads was all i did. Took me a few sessions to get the tyre pressures close to right, was a pretty warm track from early in the morning and got hot well before lunch. Took a little while to get the cobwebs out of the driving too, but by the arvo was being probably harder on the car than i ever have. Seemed like that sort of day as a lot of people seemed to be pushing, and having the moments to go with them - like that blue torana that came so close to putting it on it's lid when he lost it coming out of 5!

Thanks to those that gave me a drive too, always love jumping behind the wheel of something new - feel like i always learn something different about a corner and gets you thinking of alternatives to get quicker.

And great to see Damo get the soarer there, even if only for a few smokey laps on a very fresh tune. Was lucky enough to jump in the passenger seat, there's some potential there and will be a weapon with a little more development.

It was the start of a pretty big weekend; got up and back to sydney early yesterday as i'd made a few plans for the rest of the day... took Bec out for a bit of an outing that culminated in me popping the question and getting the desired response!!

Oh and next one is June 19th.
