    Default supercharging 22re

I'm looking into supercharging my 2.4 litre injected corona.
Would a 4age supercharger be the best bet?
    Or go all aftermarket?
    Cheers guys.

If you are doing it for fun and something to do, then go for it. And use an SC14 off a 1GGZE.

If you are doing it because you think it'll be cheap, easy and make good power, you'll be severely disappointed.

    As peewee said.

The 22r is a truck engine for starters. Also, it came turbocharged as an option from the factory, so that path will probably/possibly be cheaper.

The 4a-ge has a SC12 supercharger, but too small for the 22r. SC14 is a better bet, but you'll need to look into fab work involved, how much boost you want to run, then if you need bigger injectors, aftermarket management, exhaust, intercooler...... gets exxy

Work out what you want and what your budget is, and then see if it's realistic

    Thanks heaps ay.
    =]
I lost my licence and need something to do for a bit of fun.
The turbo route would be alright too.
Or mayybe i should just do it properly and put a whole other motor in.
    Maybe 1G turbo. =]

A 1GGTE will probably work out to be about the same cost (depending on how overboard you go during the install - on exhaust/ic prices, servicing/etc) as supercharging the 22RE, plus it will use less fuel, have a lot more power, be a lot more reliable, and last a lot longer.

22re + S/C could equal a stump pulling good time....

Torquey motor... add a blower and boost the low end torque even more....
