Default Wiring Help 1G in RT

The final step. Snip and solder.

I've searched everywhere for info regarding this issue. I have dug up a lot info but I'm a little lost after studying wiring diagrams for both cars and siffting though Toymods and other sites.

I've pulled off both ECU covers to see what each pinout is for.
    So far I've connected -
    22RE 1GGTE
    P14 +B P21 B ( <<Is that right?)
    P7 +B1 P22 +B1
    P6 BATT P11 BATT

    After that I'm completely lost

On the 22 is STA the starter, FPU fuel pump?
I couldn't find a IGSW in there too.

    Any help is much appreciated
    Cheers

I am not shure about your problem, If You need wiring diagram (to compare) 1g-gte and 22R there is one at: http://www.toymods.org.au/Repository

There is a few diferences between my ECU 3erd Gen 1ggte and the version to download. but helps a lot.

Spent some time on it today and I've been cranking it over from the engine bay to see if I'm getting a spark and I'm not. All plugs are connected to ECU and igniter/coil.

Does anything else have to be connected/wired in for it to be getting a spark? Fuel puel isn't wired in just yet as I haven't sorted the return line yet.

Also, can I snip the wires right near the ECU to solder to the old loom or should I snip at the other plugs that connected to the Supra body loom? I've looked at the wiring diagrams about this but it doesn't look like it should be a problem.

I think that is really difficult to solve this problem, many wires/sensors involved (Air Flow Meter, TPS, Fuel Pump Control, Injectors, igniter, distributer, very good hearth...) but, if You try to get error codes(jumping E1-Te1) from ECU (1ggte) may be this is will be the initial point to start fixing all sensors connections.

You have an engine 1ggte (what version ?), complete wire loom and ECU without the plugs wires and You are trying to match both them ?

If You think that a picture from ECU plugs and wires helps,I can watch on mine, last night I need to check O2 sensor wires, so the ECU is more accesible to take a photograph (it is very difficult to access it because my car does not have original dash.

There was a GA70 Supra at work with everything except the gearbox. So I pulled all the stuff I needed from that including loom, ECU and other goodies. Its a Gen 3 and I didn't pull any of the plugs out besides the AFM and coil.

The ECU is getting power all the time at BATT and when I put it on ignition, B+/B1+ has power.

I don't think power is going anywhere around the ECU...

To what would I connect the IGSW to? Because there isn't a IGSW in the 22RE ECU.

Would there be power at the STA pin when its on ignition?

STA pin send power (from ECU) to the relay, for starter solenoid, when the ignition key have reached the last position (OFF, ACC, ON, STA) and then, this solenoid enable (+) source to the starter. I have disconected the solenoid wire and using another wire source, direct from battery(+), the starter comes on to start the engine (just with the key at ON position).

I've checked all the connections in regards to spark. I've pulled the dizzy cover and cleaned the points a bit. Still nothing. I've looked on the wiring diagrams and all the power comes from the ECU.

Is there a way of testing my igniter/coil?

    Thanks

ignitor ends back a 'good ignition event' signal back - make sure that you have all the correct connectivity to/from the ignitor.

You should see if you are getting any error codes - otherwise, ignore the dizzi unless ECU has error with the 3 pickups inside there.

I don't think anyone takes this much time to wire up lol. I've noticed a few plugs that aren't plugged into anything.

    okay from the top,

BATT should have a continuous +12v supply,

+B and +B1 should be connected to +12v power supply when the ignition is on. now these 2 relays for b+ and +b1 are triggered by the ecu output wire M-rel.

IGSW should have a +12v power supply when the ignition is in the run position.

STA should receive a +12v signal from the ign switch when the key is in the START pos. the ecu wants to know when your cranking because it doesnt know what position the engine is in otherwise.

Fuel pump relay trigger wire: trace the wire from the AFM. it grounds when the AFM flap is open. i think its a green wire.

injector bank supply: i think this is a thick black wire with a yellow strip (check this). this should have a heavy duty +12v power supply when the ign is on.

i think this about all thats needed to get the engine running. check the 'check engine' light if in doubt, it will tell you if something is not working as it should

if in doubt, refer to the wiring diagrams. search for the "1ggte specs/info" thread. all the wiring diagrams were realoaded there not long ago (by me)

not sure what the ones are you circled but a couple of the wires hanging down behind the manifold are for the gearbox neutral light. and possibly another for the cat converter okay light??
