Have you looked at the Cygnus TSRM ?
Hi,
How would I go about changing the wheel bearing on an A70/Z20. So far I have learned that I cant do it without some sort of puller or hydraulic press. What about if I have another car that I can use the wheel bearing off, can I take the whole assembly out without taking the actual bearing out and replace it. If this is possible how much work is it?
I have never done this so I do not know how involving it is.
Any help, tips or pictures or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,
I had a look at some of the guides, on one of the steps it says to remove one of the rear drive shafts from the diff, is this step necessary?
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar....aspx?S=RA&P=7
Step 6 on that page says to Remove one of the drive shafts, does this need to be done?
I only need to get to the wheel bearing assembly.
Thanks.
The driveshaft does go right through the centre of the hub.

Hi,
I had a go at it today. I unbolted the brake caliper and took it off. Then There was a split pin that I had to remove. After this pin was removed the Disc Brake Rotor would come off, revealing a big 1.25" bolt in the middle. I took the bolt off after a few attempts.
And I'm stuck at that point now, I had removed the big 1.25" in the center, but nothing else seems to come off.
Any Ideas?
Thanks
You can try using a puller to pull the hub from the carrier.

Hi Cruzida and Thanks.
If I cannot get my hands on a Puller, is there any other way?
Thanks.
take it to a mechanic?
some jobs, you just need to right tools.. or a bigger hammer

Lots and lots of force. But then you run the risk of damaging it.
You can remove the whole thing and put it in a press.

Hi,
I have some nice hooks that I can use, maybe make a DIY puller like I did for taking my rim lip off. I just want to be sure that there isn't anything else holding it in and is all that I need to do is use a puller. The nut in the centre is off, anything else?
In that case I'll get onto it and use a puller.
NFI is there is anything else. Study the TSRM see if they remove anything else.
It doesn't look like they do.
After you remove it, how will you put it back in ?

Wouldn't the wheel hub just go back in easily once it's pulled off?
force off = force on.... makes sense no?
