there isnt much use of adjusting it as the clearence is between the circlip, push rod head and the piston...if the head is too big/ piston curve is shallow. the max it reverse will be till the clip only and it couldnt help to fully retract the piston .sometimes manufacturing defect do happen
Drift Drift Drift and drift untill getting high fever...

sooo.. i couldn't see anything wrong with the bloody thing... i took it into the break n clutch specialist..... well their concur they said there is no build up of preasure and that there must be a problem within the clutch it self. now the shop that installed the parts recon its pressure in the line... or my driving... i have barely driven the thing in 5 months... so now i am at log aheads with these guys trying to work out what/whos to blame. but charging $250 to swap out my push rod... i know who im blaming.

Sorry, I don't know the particulars of a JZA70, does its clutch fork have a return spring & adjustable stop? Changing the pushrod length can do 1 of 3 things, too short and the slave's piston/seal will pop out of the slave, too long and the slave's piston will hit the bottom of the slave & the clutch will not engage completely, just right is anything in between extremes that will also allow for clutch disk wear.
Changing the pushrod length is usually something that is only done by high school kids working on their first car.
'I've scrapped better.' John stated when asked about the car by the guy with the silver tipped cowboy boots!

eldar thought he threw his old R154 slave away.

it appears he didnt, and now has a slave push rod sitting in his garage.

you'd be most welcome to it.

i also have the part number for the CORRECT slave.

the problem with the EPC is that it shows the R154 slave as exactly the same as the W58 slave on the diagram, the picture is the same, however the part is different.

i paid $130 trade for a new one i think, from big rock toyota.
