Hope in the next month.. Just waiting on this handbrake / tailshaft setup.
No exhaust at the moment, finishes at the factory cats. Sounds horn.. I gotta make the exhaust up still..

Well the coaster went back home for the first time today..
Spent the last few weekends finalising everything including a 2x 2.5" exhaust we made that runs down each underside of the bus and then after the diff merging into a single 3".
From there it was test driving, ironing out bugs and finally at 3pm my old man got to drive it home where he can start on the camper fitout.
Goes quite well, can't expect too much when it's lugging around 4 tonne. But gets up and goes ok and holds its own on the hills.
Was very pleased with the whole conversion.. It'd be one of the bigger conversions i've done and basically we turned the key and went for a drive. The only problem was getting the drum brake that is mounted in the centre of the 2 halves of the tailshaft aligned. It was very pedantic about angles etc. But after trying some different thickness shims and getting the angles spot on it feels fine.
I think the IACV needs a clean as it sometimes stalls after it's on decel down a hill and comes to a stop. We still need to box the engine bay back in but that is easy enough.
I'll get some photos.
Cheers
Joel
lol...sweet
subscribing for skid pics
Hmm seems 4 tonne of Coaster even the mighty 1UZ can't get it to skid. 4x rear tyres probably dont help either.

Nice work man!
I just noticed that tranny cooler - shouldn't it be rotated 90* or 180* to allow the air to bleed out of it?
The way it is now, wouldn't the fluid would take the path of least resistance (straight across the bottom 2 or 3 rows) and not fill the whole cooler?
Dude you love taking on any conversion, nice work!!

Kia Carnival was the source mainly due to the cool arm rests.
