So is that the GX81 clutch pedal?
Not sure if anybody is still interested in this, but i finally got my gear and here are some pics. Obviously, clutch on the left and brake on the right.
As for the spacer that you are referring to on the studs, they are permanent and about 15mm long - i believe they go through the holes on the firewall so that the master cylinder sits against them and takes into account the dash insulation pads. These spacers are also on the brake pedal box.
If you want anything specific then let me know and ill put them up.
And yes, those ugly pedal covers are already gone!
Yep - the only way i know for certain is that JP took plenty of pics when he did his manual GX81 to JZX81 conversion and its the same.
By the looks of things, i have everything i need for the clutch pedal box apart from the master cylinder, though i am not sure what the bracket on the top right is for. Plus my spring looks different to his (though matches the one in the toyodiy reference) and its behaving a little weird. Not sure about the brake pedal box but have plenty of time to find out.
This is interesting
I thought i had a gx81 in my jzx81 but going by that picture i dont
It did however bolt straight in, clutch dosent take up till end of the pedal though, is that the issue your talking about?
Makes me wish I had kept all the sx80/gx81 peddles I came across :'( didn't realise you guys would want em so bad!
If it bolts up without ANY mods, then its more than likely an X81 based pedal as i have seen some being sold that dont have the big bracket out the front with the sping. Dont know how it affects it though.Originally Posted by « RČ» Blinky
Have you got any pics of yours « RČ» Blinky?
Yeah, most guys over here stuggle when it comes to making another clutch pedal box fit. Though the issue seems to be more from the lack of information as you get some people saying things fit with minimal mods (A70 for instance) when in actual fact its not the case. The X81 vehicles are also much more rarer over here too.Originally Posted by thegreatestben

Yea i took it out and did this, left a bit of thread so it wasnt dodgy, made it a lot better, well made it work lol but still not brilliant
Sorry guys, kinda forgot about the part numbers... There's a fair few, but you can find the all from this link...
