Dumb Microtech Question - about 4age 20V CAS

Hi guys,

Its late and I have a complete and utter brain freeze in progress.......

If a microtech LT10s is setup for a 4AGE 16V will it run with all the 4AGE 20V sensors? (CAS, etc?)

I know it is a stupid question, but I am having a really dumb moment here.

I think it does, but my electronics technician brain is off at the moment.

I dont know the specific differences in the CAS of either engines, but the Small Port 16v uses a twin pickup relcutor with main trigger wheel having 24 points i think and the ref wheel (most outer wheel) having 2. The big port CAS had 4 spikes on the outer wheel. Whip the dizzy cap off your dizzy and have a look-see, but im pretty sure they are the same.

You would need to account for the quad throttles though and tuning via tps as main load sensor and MAP as transient load sensor, so not sure if that make a difference to microtechs base map.

The rest of the ignition system is pretty similar, with only the 4AGZE having the twin coil wasted spark ignition system.

Also im not too sure what Microtech do with the VVT switch, it may just be driven by an auxiliary output.
