Microtech guru - Delco Idle Motor

Hello, are there any microtech guru's out there? I've got a mate with a 4agze engine running a microtech. He has recently put a Delco/Holden throttle body on which we got the TPS working fine on but cannot work out the idle motor.

Does anyone know if Microtech can control a Delco idle motor?
It has 4 wires.

If anymore info is needed let me know. Checked Microtech website but couldn't find it there.

Delco is 4 wire ISCV, works the same as Toyota's 6 wires ISCV's (but without the 2 power wires).

I know for a fact the LT8S and LT12S (and its predecessors) cannot control this.

If he has an LT10S, then it has an extra 2 PWM wires. Whether these can be reconfigured to work with the other 2 PWM wires, I don't know.

hey joel unless u order it pre made to control a delco idle motor i think that it might not be possible as is

worst case senenario is he might have to send it back

another thing is most of the time if the tuner is a good one he should be able to get the idle and cold start pretty good

if u want it for a/c idle up and stuff then its a different thing but theres ways around it

best to call microtech after 2pm

Another way would be to adapt a simple type idle valve from something else and use that instead. Even change the whole throttle over.

I hear an XH, EA, EB Falcon TB is a nice upgrade for somethings, has the ISCV as part of the TB and it's one of the simpler ones, not the uber stepper motors.
