there are 3 types of 1GGTE
GEN1 ECU PLUGS are "fatter" and yellow Colour
GEN2 ECU PLUGS are limish/yellow and slim
GEN3 ECU PLUGS are the same size as GEN 2 but Grey

I once had and also seen on ebay 1GGTE ecu identical to the gen 3 in plug size but yelloish green yours seem to be the fatter type after looking at those pics in your other thread leaning towards gen 1 ecu

But Gen2 injectors are supposed to have an injector resistor pack...they're low impedance injectors.

Aren't there some gen2.5's with hi impedance injectors?

Yellow injectors = low = needs resistor pack
Green injectors = high = no resistor pack

I'll test the resistance tomorrow, will also clean up some of the manifold grounds etc.

And thanks for the offer Vash, I don't really want to get the stage of swapping looms etc, for that much trouble I'd just throw a 1JZ in there instead. And yeah, I hope your ECU is still ok but if it's fucked now I'll reimburse you for it
No worries man if its comes down to it and you put in a 1j i might be interested in your 1g

That's a lot of work to do just to avoid wiring in a resister pack in the B+ suply to the injectors.
