1J/2J Hydro Fan Control Units

Does anyone know for sure if the Hydro fan control units are interchangeable between different models of 1J cars and 2J cars? i would think they would be the same but need to know for sure before putting an Aristo one on my JZX90 1J.

Anyone know or used any other control module besides the one their 1/2J came with????

The 4 different ones that toyota made all have near the same pinouts so if its wired corectly it should work. Im unsure if the RPM sense would be diff between 6cyl and 8cyl units .
