Im with old corallas . -2 deg = about 20mm and i think you will find that the strut top will end up hitting the tower before you get that much camber.

I run K-mac strut tops in my car and have even modified the plates further to get more neg out of em but i still have the adjustable plate hit the tower. -0.5 deg is all i can get with out adjustable LCAs

This is in a MK2 cortina so may differ fom your celica

Um, that is currently another area of debate with the 3J crowd. Basically LCAs arnt specified as free, so the modifications are heavily frowned upon. I would go one of two ways for camber adjustment, one method would be camber tops, and the other is to mount up offset RCAs.

Um, give one of the IPRA elig guys a ring. Or maybe come along to the meeting on Monday night. Even ill be there, although ill have to leave early.
And sorry to say, according to these regs:

The LCAs arnt free. Although note the allowances for spacers in there.

Yup, further to what Takai has posted there is another section in the Improved Production regs, right at the beginning of the section stating that you may only perform modifications that are specifically allowed within the manual. Basically, if it doesnt mention it then you cant do it. There is no mention of LCAs so you must use standard LCAs as originally supplied in the vehicle.

You can however, relocate the LCA's pivot point. Off the top of my head I think it's radially up to 45mm from the original location, but you'd be best to check that in the manual. I beleive you can also add "reinforcing material" to pivot points up to a certain distance, so some creativity in interpretation may be used there also...

Yeah, that is another good point taylz. By radially mounting the pivot points you can get the same effect.
