    Top one was reverse lights plug, correct on the bottom one though! +rep for your efforts

    I didn't think it would be the reverse lights since that plug is not located in the area you pointed at.

    its more towards the back of the firewall.

    no point discussing it further, it was sorted a while ago. and the man who asked the question has answered it for you also look at the diagrams you posted and the photo more closely, the backup lamp switch plug diagram is a much better match for the photo than the heater VSV plug diagram. well done with the having the info on hand tho!

    might be time to lock this one up?
