Hopefully the Dina will be repaired by then, otherwise if the parts haven't turned up in time, I'll delay & try to draw the local plod off for the defects![]()
I'm hoping to get the AE71 Spirit back on the road before the event to bring it over for the weekend, otherwise I'll have to get a lift with someone (as the wife wont let me take the AWD magna for the weekend leaving her with nothing to get around in with the kids)Originally Posted by pen15
And I hope you will be entering the Motorkahana, as I'd love to see a xE7x out there carving it up...

how many sets of rear tires should i bring oh and does any1 have spare t series axles around?Originally Posted by DARKMAZE
If you're doing it properly, you should not go through a set of tyres, so if you have expensive ones you dont want to ruin, then that'd be the only reason I'd recommend bringing a spare set for use, but otherwise you shouldn't need a spare set.Originally Posted by pen15
Noone last year blew any tyres, but I think there were one or two that were close to being below legal on the drive home (but that doesn't take into account how bad or good they were on the way up).
Realistically, you are not doing much more effort than a hard drive through the hills (unless your trying to do burnouts the whole way around, which isn't really the aim of the experience)
yeah with the new surface this year and your car pen the only real damage you would sustain would be flat spots from the hand brake

DST17T MS53 68 Crown Custom Wagon 7MGTE 266rwkw
I definately have a room that i do not need.
It is upstairs / out the back ( i beleive - could be wrong ).
If someone wants it, PM and I will try to change the name over. Otherwise I will be calling to cancel it tomorrow.
