Default Are most toyota steering wheel splines the same???

I would like to use a jza80 supra steering wheel on my mx83 and am curious to know if they are interchangeable before I aquire one. I had a jzx90 one on my last cressy it bolted straight up so hopefully the supra is a winner too.... can anyone shed some light???

Most wheel splines are the same, but the size/dimensions of the hole in the column covers are different on a few.

Most of the splines are the same (probly 90%) but the horn contacts and dowel holes for indicator cancellation are in different positions also.
