Will it Fit? Wheels and Offsets

So i walked down to my garage to wake up my darling JZA70 this morning and it occurred to me... My Wheels are hideous!! They are thin, too shiny and oh so small in those beautifully constructed wheel arches...

So i am shopping about and i spy something a little sportier, a set of 19inch Hiro wheels. but i am worried they arent going to fit.

specs are:
fronts measure 19x8.5 and the rears 19x10.5!
225/30/19 and 265/30/19 tyres.
Offsets are 35 on the front and 42 on the rear.

are these going to be too big??





or i was looking at a set of BUDDY CLUB P1 RACING II PLUS WHEELS...

specs
19x8.5 Front +45 offset
19x9.5 Rear +38 offset
235/35 Front
265/30 Rear

Top set would suit it best IMHO... wheels on there now are horrid... sorry

Ive seen the car around before... Take a look at my ride thread to see what Works look like on an A70 for an idea on other wheels

Im pretty sure the widths will be fine, NFI about offsets though sorry...

Mine are 18x8 and 18x9 +38 and at the rear they sit perfect, fronts need a 10mm spaced I reckon to make them look right... Hope that helps? lol

Oh i see, well frack, dont i feel silly!

I dont like your current wheels, but love the ones the skyrine is wearing! They are my preference...

I also wanna buy a car to put those work 19" wheels on, krayziveit or something has them and they are horn... But not sure how they'd look on a a70...

Sooooo.... im glad that we have all established that the current wheels have gotta go.... blame the missus i do. she wanted something shiny, i wanted something sporty.... somehow she won.
im guessing the top set might be the go couse its a lill shiny and a lill sporty.

now all i need is someone to tell me if they will fit.

ok, you may not wanna take this advice in,

but your JZA70 will look fucking retarded with 19's , it will look like a 4 wheel drive

Get 18's at the max, but only if you can make your car lower, with coilovers or lower springs ?

Cruzsida's 17's would look GREAT!



back on topic if you dont want to listen to good advice...

The 19's with that wideness and that offset will NOT fit on the rear. the front will fit ok though.

If you have your heart set on those 19x10.5 and 19x8.5

then you will also need to purchase some 15mm spacers for toyota off Ebay for ~$170 for the rear to fit.

Yeah, the 8.5's would fit piss easy, but the 10.5's would probably need a spacer.

I have x9 +44 on there at the moment, and x10.5 +42 would be 17mm closer to the suspension. I don't know how much clearance I currently have though.

And without a spacer the tyre would almost sit flush (a little inside) so with a 15mm spacer the x10.5 would be outside the guard.
