Auto Tech Speedo

hey guys

i drive a 1976 RA23 celica

i have just purchased an Auto Tech speedo as my original one does not work anymore, it is my understanding that with an aftermarket guage that is Electric, an adaptor needs to be fitted, i have sourced and also purched this adaptor. is there anything else that i will need to put this into my celica? like any other adaptor, wireing ect

Without seeing the thing. I'd say you would need to run new wiring for the following:

+12ve - Instrument power
Ground - Instrument Ground
12v from tail lights - Instrument Lumination
Ground - Lumination Ground
Signal - To or From Speedo Sensor.

The sesnor should have 2 wires, one signal, one ground.

Thats my experiance with them anyway...Hope it helps....

Sensor will have 3 wires. 12v, ground, signal.
