7MGE into MA70(Prevouis 7MGTE)

Hello Guys and gals

I'm putting a 7MGE into my supra(orignal 7mgte) using the cressida loom...now I know that the 7MGE like 1GGTE has the ignitor wiring running separate to the engine loom so ill need to make that up myself...one thing though will the Tacho work? also ABS how is that wired into the car???

im sure i speak for all in asking why on earth you would want to downgrade to a 7mge?

Didnt come with a 7MGTE I finally got a 7MGTE but it had BHG also bearings alittle sus. so enough bs about why why why why crap!

Tacho will work.
ABS is completely seperate from the engine ecu, BUT the rear speed sensor (on the gbox) goes through the engine loom to the dash plugs (and then from dash plugs to the ABS ecu)

cool too easy so far. so really I could just run the abs stright to the dash plugs?

You could do just that, but you will be better off running it with the engine loom to keep everything neat and tidy.

cressida runs funky wiring for the dash loom.

hard to describe, but i dont think the colours match up, you'll need to test each wire back to the sensor.

and good luck getting the abs working!
