    you might be able to anneal the spring to soften it a little. you might want a spare first incase it doesnt work

    otherwise braze a Tpiece into the metal pressure line and put a 1-2mm diameter hole in it that bleeds back to the pump inlet

    What kind of signal activates the PPS, is it just 12v on off or what?

    yeh a 12V solenoid.

    off = light steering
    on = harder steering

    mate i went though all this a while ago.

    tried different sizes and lengh of restrictor line in the hose (last one i tried was twice as long as the stock resctrictor or some people call them a soudn deadener) and it made no difference.

    removed all that shit and replaced the hp line with a 1/4 inch line which made a bit of difference but not much.

    i also still have an underdrive pulley too which slows the pump down.

    the grandes dont have a shock too so i wonder what the difference would be between the racks themselves.
