It doesn't run a dizzy, the microtech manages the spark and ignition with a cas. and single coil packs.

Not sure i will check that next time it happens, its happened about 5-6 times, also its got a 910 bosch pump and recently when i turn my blinkers on it sort of sounds like the voltage to the pump is low and mimics the blinking sound?? only started noticing this recently,

    thanks kedderz n adam

Put a multimeter on the battery and test under all conditions, crank, ign, off,

find out how many vaults it on. Could be a dead batt.

does yes. check when its off. you will need a multimeter. Check all earths and make sure they are tight and on clean metal.

Yeah battery in boot, all earths in boot look good, got a earth grounding thingy in the engine bay with all the earths on that, I'll have to have a chat to Josh about it tonight.

    Heya trentus.
If its cranking strong it wont be bad battery or terminals.....

Could the fuel pump possibly be shagged/dicky? Perhaps its unable to supply enough fuel pressure for the injectors when it plays up (when it mimics voltage drop from blinkers). But, comes good again when it cools down or watever

I have a secondhand 044 and a VL turbo fuel pump we can throw in it for a bit to see if its the problem

Yeah Trent, can you clarify, is it cranking but not firing??

What's your fuel pressure reading when this trouble happens?

Do you happen to have a Malpassi fuel reg?

Yeah its not temp related though bro, cause sometimes it does it when its operating temp or stone cold?

Could be bad earths im guessing..

Chuck a fuel pressure gauge on (they are cheap less than $40 for a turbosmart one, less than $20 for a speco) and rule out a fuel pressure issue due to what ever reason.

Might save you chasing unknown faults.
