It is minimum $1350 for 30 cars and $45 each for each additional car. Which is still pretty damn cheap compared to regular T&T prices.

Hmm, I will ask them about a tow truck but hopefully it won't be necessary!

I see,so $45 is as good as it gets with 30 required as a minimum to achieve that price. All clear. Thanks Chris.

i'm good for a 2hour pre-TnT track booking ... plus we get to hang around and do some more runs later? or do we have to pay more to stay for the TnT?

Also, everyone driving has to agree that we push cars down the track as quickly as we can... at the start of the 2 hour booking there are cars ready to run instantly ... no standing around in the staging lanes talking car-shit and wasting time ... that's for afterwards.

Chris: just confirming that we would be heads-up racing not bracket racing? no dial-ins?

    its heads up charles

unfortunately its up to the officials when we can go thru the water/do a burnout and stage, at the winternats the cars are only at 3/4 track when the next ones are doing their burnouts, but at a normal street meet they are well and truly past the finish line.

maybe thats another thing to ask chris, if we can all get rushed thru

Charles: yep, heads up. The $45 includes the 2 hours prior to T&T as well as T&T. So basically 2 hours of racing for $9!

Phil: I can ask if you want but I think with the number of cars there it won’t really need to be rushed. I like to give it a cool down between runs anyway

The hardest part about this is ensuring we actually get the 30 car minimum to actually turn up. Deposits taken would be a good idea although i'm not sure how that sort of thing could be handled. I'm getting my exhaust fitted next week so bring on the drags!!!

I rang willowbank but the person I need to speak to isn't there. So will be finalised tomorrow. Although it is looking good for the 27th. On the 27th the T&T starts at 3pm so we would be there racing 2 hours earlier which just means an extra hour of T&T time

I have to check what times the gates open. We will be meeting half an hour before gates open so I can work out who is there and who has paid etc.

I will start a new thread with 100% correct details when I have them and what I need from people who want to race.

I will ask for real name, car, rego. and get the $45 prepaid. Then I can match details on the day. Shouldn't be too difficult.

If we have 25 odd now and I get some nissan guys interested I think we could get 50 or so. Then only have to get 60% to turn up

what we should do is, get someone {chris } to collect all the money via DD and put it aside, that way, once u pay, the money dont come back, and if we dont get the required number for the extra time, then we all just show up and we all just do the normal T&T.

But just remember ppl, the winternats are 2 weeks after the 27th, so the track will be well prepped, but on the downside there will be some heavy hitters out there testing so they usually take extra time

heavy hitter is 7's and quicker in my book. Most people would say everything from supercharged outlaws and quicker and include pro stock as a heavy hitter

Ok, so if everyone pays me first and I have the required $1350 and only 25 people show up say, do you want me to go ahead with the 2 hour session at a slightly higher price as I will have to refund people's money that didn't turn up or shall I just say no refunds so that the onus of responsibility is on the person who wanted to race. I understand there can be issues with cars but just remember that your car will never be perfect and ready to race. There is always something that can be done so no good putting it off for ever.
