    Gidday Stefan

    I have a Garrett GT25 Part number 705330-001, CHRA part number 446179-0018.

    Compressor stage
Hsg A/R 0.70, Wheel Trim 48 Model TI4S Wheel diameter 2.09/3.00 Horse power 400, Compressor Flow 44 (lbs)
    Turbine stage
    Hsg A/R 0.64 Wheel trim 76, Wheel diameter 1.85/2.12.

Main reason for upgrade is that I believe that the compressor will run out of puff with the revs available in the new motor, I would like more power and the extra capacity of the engine should help spool up.

If that is similar to a stock S13/14/15 turbo, then I understand.

True that, but I have heard this advice from elsewhere also.

Get real. Where did a stock s13/14/15 turbo get rated at 400 hp @ 1.2 bar. Hope the rest of you comments have more credibility.

I didn't read your post properly that time, for some reason I was thinking T25 when I read GT25.

As for housings - how expensive is the .82? You could always try it and swap back...

Housings are about $800 plus fitting - which is amazing for a $1800 Turbo. Queanbeyan diesel think they have a .82 that they swapped out. They are looking in the store room for it.

Not with the car - I have not registered it since returning from PNG. I will take some photos of oil and water connections and post them in your other thread.
