    Default Cleaning a diff centre

What should I use? Kero or degreaser?

I have pulled out the LSD centre from my MA70 diff and want to clean it before trynig to transplant it into my cressida diff housing.

Thing is the lsd diff is covered in yucky black oil. I would prefer to clean it and have a closer look at the bearings etc before putting it back together.

I was thinking about washing it in fresh clean kero and then letting it dry off on a clean cloth.

Then I could reassemble it with clean diff oil.

I normally use petrol for cleaning anything that is covered in thick oil/grease
