1jz ignition problem

hey guys, having a little issue with my 1j. was going fine for a while then one day it just started up running on 5 cylinders, and was running rough i.e. kept missing and alternating between 5/6 cylinders but when it warmed up after 30 mins driving or so it came good, but not 100% . I changed the plugs thinking it was probably 1 oiled up or so, but now it looks as though the front 2 cylinders are now not firing. I figured it must be the coil pack but when checked for continuity all 6 were the same. I have come to the conclusion that it is the wiring (car runs an EMS but the wiring is a nightmare, perhaps when unplugging the loom something has been pulled out but i will re-wire the whole lot properly anyway)

In the mean time anyone got any suggestions or had a similar problems???

check that the connectors on the coils are in good nick and plugged in securely, if not fix them.

found the problem, re-wired the whole section of the loom, some hardened wires had cracked around the soldered joints...
