Default Time for a new Igniter??

OK, i had my lux at the tuner's trying to get this crap cold start i have soughted. It turns out the problem is i'm not always getting spark when i turn the key, so it fslowly fouls the plugs.
We think it is the ignitor, we have check the earths and all wiring and it seems ok. Coilpacks seem fine (will be up grading later when my pocket is healthier).
If you blip the ignition and accel pedal it will fire most times. Its really annoying me, as its great to drive once its warm; a tad fuel hungry but i can live with that.

I am on the right track by trying another ignitor?

doubt its an igniter problem, in 99% of cases they either work or they don't.

what plugs are you using? they may be the wrong heat range, also what are they gapped to?

what mixures does it run at idle and on coldstart? at toyotafest it looked waaaaaaayyyyyy to rich when you were leaving.

how are the accel enrichment maps set?

could be many things but without plugging a laptop in and having a look its like playing dodgeball in the dark, very hit and miss.

    cheers
