its not that hard, its a standard toyota style insert.

tokico hts ect.

probably all workable. shorter ones most probably need spacers.

the tokico is probably the go, the rest might be a little bit borderline on the dampening.

the agx's (currently using) arent quite stiff enough for the standard JIC front springs, they make it damn close, but just don't feel right

and the hts's would be the best choice (had them in mine, wonderful shock)... but you try finding them at a reasonable price

theyre on u.s ebay from a fair few vendors. for what they are, i dont think theyre too outrageous at all.

These Crux listed coilies, anyone got any experience? I need new suspension badly, wanna fit new brakes, need new rims for new brakes, need coilies for new rims, suspensions completely fucked atm as well.

not fantastically keen on getting JIC's, but some people seem to get a fair bit fo use out of them. Plus they come with the brake package already stuck on them, so could be a bit of stuffing aroud saved there. and 20mm spacers could be useful

JIC's cannot be rebuild in australia 110% sure
you can try to backyard them yourself as Dimitri is saying. and you eventually will.

My mate found a guy in QLD who was rebuilding some so your not 110% right on that one.

Because they are so short inserts to replace them aren't available.

I have some and theyre fucked. The fronts are rooted and have shaft play, and even when they were good they were so hard.

Advice; if theyre for a street car then steer clear of any coilovers designed for the track. Now I understand you want something cheap but what will happen is you will buy them for $1000, have them for a few months before realising theyre either rooted or shit for the street, then have to fork out to get them either rebuilt or replaced.

Prbly shockreco, that has already been listed.

I've personally used shockreco to re valve some wet let SA63 struts in the past And rebuild a PS rack. I'd be surprised if they couldn't re-con the JIC shocks (they are listed as being re-buildable...)...
