    Default Fixing Wobbly Windows

    Hey guys,

I have a KE35, and recently the front passenger side window has been wobbling pretty bad, so I took off the door skin and had a look underneath, but I honestly wouldn't know what to look for first, is it the guides? I dunno? Any one got any suggestions they would share?

    Thanks guys,

    Brad.

Hi Brad.. have a search for the Celica window repair guide.. i suspec ta KE35 would be a very similar situation. Its usually either the guide wheels or some other plastic things that hold the window in its support rail.

if you cant work it out get the whole assembly from wreckers and replace. unless ur talkiing about the ke35 which finding one from the wreckers might not be so easy.

Probably also worth checking that all bolts are tight along with the rivet thingy that holds the two arms together. The rivet can wear out after a while, like on bonnet hinges, and allow play in all directions.

Yeah I made sure they were tight, its just old and worn out, just needs a few runners replaced and its good as gold, works better after some lubing with Silicon Spray.

    Thanks LeeRoy.

My passenger window rattles a bit on my soarer, In my car there are some rubber blocks that are supposed to stop it from wobbling from side to side.
